There’s bars and restaurants right at the waterfront, so you can watch the wooden ships that are docked in the canals.

Tivoli Gardens

Give it a try. Tivoli is unlike any other park. In fact, it’s one of the oldest ones in the world.
And even if you’re not a fan of amusement parks - wandering around the beautifully decorated, landscaped gardens is worth a visit itself.
Depending on the season, the whole park closes for a few weeks, to be decorated to match the season. Wandering between thrilling rides and countless lights is a very special vibe.

The little mermaid

Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales are precious to children all over the world. Denmark aprreciates his works and dedicates him various statues all over the country. The little mermaid is one of those, inspired by his fairy tales. The statue, commissioned by brewer Carl Jacobsen of Carlsberg, was sculpted by Edvard Eriksen and has been gracing the harbor of Copenhagen since 1913.

You will find an impressive collection of statues from different continents, that are gathered in a building so elegant and impressive, it enhances the cultural athmosphere. Located in the heart of Copenhagen you can find the seat of the Danish Parliament, the Prime Minister's Office, and the Supreme Court. It offers visitors a glimpse into Denmak’s culture. Visiting the opulent halls, you will find artworks and historic artefacts from Denmark’s history.
