What is Copenhill?

Copenhill is Copenhagen's innovative destination, featuring an artificial ski slope, hiking trails, and the world's highest climbing wall. Opened in 2017, it offers panoramic views and après-ski amenities, blending urban resources with waste management.

Spectacular and innovative

Copenhill surely is one of Copenhagen's most innovative and exciting destinations.
I got the chance to visit it and I am thrilled to take you with on a journey high above the roofs of Copenhagen.

Copenhill is an artificial ski slope and hiking area that opened in autumn 2017, built on the new waste management center.

You can bring your own equipment or rent it. The empolyees will assist and advise you. As in traditional ski resorts, you can of course round off your day on the slopes with après-ski in Copenhill's own café and après-ski bar.

If skiing is not for you, you can also try out the hiking trail that runs across the entire roof of CopenHill. But don’t worry - you can take the elevator to get up as well.

CopenHill is also home to the world's highest climbing wall at 85 meters, where qualified climbers can put their skills to the test.

The ski slope on the roof represent a completely new approach to the use of urban resources and the construction of waste incineration plants.

Copenhill has a total of 450 meters of slope as well as a viewing platform on the top of the roof, where you get a panoramic view of Copenhagen's skyline. If the weather allows it, you will even get to see Øresund Bridge, which connects Denmark and Sweden.

Get yourself a drink and enjoy your skyline-view, that gives you an unique view over the whole city.
